Claim your shop in three steps
It's free, it takes about a minute, and your shop is already on the map — you only need to show us it's yours.
Step 1 · Stand at your shopfront
Open your shop's page and tap “This is my shop”, then “I'm at the shop”. Your phone shares where you are standing right at that moment. You must be within about 15 metres of the shop door, so nobody can claim your shop from their home.
If it says you're too far, switch on location for this app and try again outside the door.
Step 2 · Match the listed business number
Type your shop's own phone number. If it matches the number already listed for the shop, your verified badge switches on instantly — no waiting, no cost.
The number is checked privately inside nearNdear. It is never sent to another person, and no reviewer phone number or identity is shown.
Step 3 · Live photo and nearby confirmation
If the number cannot match, take one live photo of your counter or signboard while still at the shop. It enters the private Help Desk. You may also ask nearby verified businesses in their nearNdear inbox; two independent confirmations switch your badge on automatically.
After you're verified
Your dashboard opens up: change your storefront photo, fix your address and hours, add up to 10 photos, and post today's update to neighbours nearby.
Everything here is free. We never ask for payment to list or verify a shop.
